003: What is a Lightworker? - The Paranormal Guide Weekly Podcast
Wednesday Aug 15, 2012
Wednesday Aug 15, 2012
Welcome to Weekly Podcast 003! What is a Lightworker? This podcast was a little more challenging than usual as normally the majority of The Paranormal Guide Team knows at least something about the subject. When it comes to Lightworkers only the team medium Tash had knowledge as such Tash does a majority of the speaking and pretty much carries the show (thankfully!) Debbie once again hits the streets and asks people whether they think positive energy can help out when it comes to dealing with negative spirits. We get some awesome responses and are once again suprised by the knowledge some of the public has on the subject. We interview Andrea Kaldy from 'Validate' who has been a lightworker for a number of years. Andrea provides us with her own definition on what a lightworker is and gives us some examples on how her ability is put to use in the field. Atilla Kaldy also weighs in with his analytical eye on the subject. so there you go, a husband and wife team giving both perspectives. The listeners question comes in from Trijoni G who asks 'As a team or individually have we ever sought out the skills of a lightworker?' and 'Do we ever think we will come across a case or situation where will will need the services of a lightworker?' This weeks featured artist is 'Vintage Inc' and his experimental free form track 'Young Traveller'. This is a very awesome and chilled track to end our show! Welcome everyone! After a short holiday The Paranormal Guide Crew are back and now with a bigger and better podcast. This is TPG Podcast 000 in that it falls a little outside of our new series in that it is more of a 'pilot' episode, a dry run and a place where we can come to grips with our new format. In this episode we introduce ourselves and talk a little about what The Paranormal Guide is. Debbie takes to the streets and asks the public 'With a name like the Paranormal Guide what is it that you think we do?' Debbie does infact get some interesting answers to this question. Our interview is with Alex Hedge all the way out in Kentucky USA and we talk with him about his new piece of online social media networking built especially for paranormal investigators and those with a paranormal interest. Listeners question comes from 'John' who asks 'Will The Paranormal Guide always be a free service?' and finally we finish the show with a song by local Adelaide metal band 'Cyclosa'. It certainly is a big week for our first of the new podcast series. We hope you enjoy! The Paranormal Guide Podcast 20 06/07/12
Friday Jul 06, 2012
Friday Jul 06, 2012
Welcome to another weekly episode of The Paranormal Guide Podcast. This is part two of our six month retrospective of episodes past. In one of our early episodes we talked about Ouija Boards and whether we would use one. Do they hold any danger and what has given them a bad tag? The listeners question this week came from Neil of Murraylands Paranormal who asked (in one of our really early shows) what are our favourite pieces of investigation equipment and what do we recommend to someone starting out. It is interesting to see that some of our minds have changed as we have gotten to use more gadgets over the months and new favourites replace old favourites. With only one more show to come in this format we are looking forward to presenting to you our new and improved podcast coming soon! As always we love recieving your feedback. Welcome everyone to podcast 19
With this podcast we celebrate six months of successful podcasting out to the paranormal community. It has been a good six months and we have grown both in listeners and in technology since our first episode on 22 December 2011. At first we were running hour long shows huddled around a digital voice recorder but now we have a more professional sound sytem and are running shorter but more frequent shows.
This podcast begins four weeks of retrospective looking back on the early shows and reanswering the same questions and discussing some of the same topics. We are doing this for two reasons: a) the old shows will soon be archived and b) to see if our opinions have changed on the topics. This first episode of retrospectives does show that we have changed our minds on some things!
We discuss our first topic on the show with the Bloodmoon of 2011 and our trip to Ebenezer Schoolhouse.Following that we reanswer our first listeners question 'Can a psychic fit in with a technology based team?' Tash was the one who asked that question before she had joined the team so we can answer it now that we have utilised her abilities for six months and also see how she feels on the subject.
