003: What is a Lightworker? - The Paranormal Guide Weekly Podcast
Wednesday Aug 15, 2012
Wednesday Aug 15, 2012
Welcome to Weekly Podcast 003! What is a Lightworker? This podcast was a little more challenging than usual as normally the majority of The Paranormal Guide Team knows at least something about the subject. When it comes to Lightworkers only the team medium Tash had knowledge as such Tash does a majority of the speaking and pretty much carries the show (thankfully!) Debbie once again hits the streets and asks people whether they think positive energy can help out when it comes to dealing with negative spirits. We get some awesome responses and are once again suprised by the knowledge some of the public has on the subject. We interview Andrea Kaldy from 'Validate' who has been a lightworker for a number of years. Andrea provides us with her own definition on what a lightworker is and gives us some examples on how her ability is put to use in the field. Atilla Kaldy also weighs in with his analytical eye on the subject. so there you go, a husband and wife team giving both perspectives. The listeners question comes in from Trijoni G who asks 'As a team or individually have we ever sought out the skills of a lightworker?' and 'Do we ever think we will come across a case or situation where will will need the services of a lightworker?' This weeks featured artist is 'Vintage Inc' and his experimental free form track 'Young Traveller'. This is a very awesome and chilled track to end our show! In Podcast 002: 'Is investigating the paranormal dangerous?' we played a portion of an interview with John Safran a Immersive Documentary Film maker who has taken part in a lot of different religious and cultural rituals and practices. Here we have the full uncut 45 minute interview. Through this interview we ask him about the rituals he has taken part in (including Day of the dead ceremonies, crucifiction, placing curses and Exorcism) and whether he at any time felt he was in danger physically or spiritually. We also ask about upcoming projects, whether he is likely to tackle the paranormal and just how he first came to be a documentary 'prankster'. Wednesday Aug 08, 2012
Welcome back to the Paranormal Guide Weekly Podcast (There are a few gremlins in this recording and we are working on them) This week we are tackling the question 'Is investigating the paranormal dangerous?' The team, has a very brief discussion before we kick into the first segment. Debbie once again hits the streets and asks the public whether they think the paranormal and the research of the unknown can be dangerous. It would seem that Semaphore is quite well versed on this subject as the answers were all fairly well informed. Paul and Ash interview John Safran who labels himself a 'immersive documentary maker'. Having taken part in voodoo rituals, a crucifixion and a Exorcism John is very well placed to discuss our topic. Our listeners question comes from Brenton G who asks : 'Have you ever felt that you were in danger while investigating the paranormal?' Indeed, each of the team has but in different ways. Tash introduces 'Willydidj Djaykun' who is the artist that plays us out this week ending another massive show! Debbie takes to the streets and asks the public 'With a name like the Paranormal Guide what is it that you think we do?' Debbie does infact get some interesting answers to this question. Our interview is with Alex Hedge all the way out in Kentucky USA and we talk with him about his new piece of online social media networking built especially for paranormal investigators and those with a paranormal interest. Friday May 25, 2012
Friday May 25, 2012
This episode of TPG interviews is very special. Pavle 'Paul' Tipic (tech manager TPG) has rigged up a phone to our mixing desk enabling us to contact investigators, researchers and reporters anywhere in the world! To help us bring in this big event for TPG we have brought Alejandro from The Dead Explorer into our headsets to talk to the wider paranormal community. Alejandro lives in Austin, Texas and it is from there he sets out to explore the realms of the unknown joining other paranormal investigation teams along the way. He has been to some fantastic locations and we discuss these along with his current and future projects. As this is our first attempt at using the new over the phone feature it is a little raw. We will be working on this over the coming months and we hope to have Alejandro join us again in the future.
